Management and Evaluation of Patients undergoing Cardiac Surgery.
Your initial appointment will consist of:
- Detailed health history
- Heart examination
- Risk evaluation for your heart surgery according to EuroSCORE II (European System for Cardiac Operative Risk Evaluation) or STS (The Society for Thoracic Surgeons) Score.
Your second step will consist of:
X-ray, Pre-operative blood tests, Stress Test, Echocardiogram, Periferal Vascular evaluation, Pneumological tests, Cardiac Catheterization with Coronarography and CT Scan, if clinically indicated, will be held at the Cardiac Surgery Department before operation.
The appointment will be made at the Outpatient Clinics of the Centro Cuore Morgagni in Pedara (CT) or at the Medical Office in Marina di Ragusa (RG) upon prior reservation.
